OOPS! A buying mistake
Q. What a fun hobby these pins are going to be! I have 17 of them made already.
Like you, I can get "lost" in puttng them together too. I don't have the eye you have for using parts
of the vintage jewelry, but hopefully I will get better. I've bought some pieces I can't use----beginner, right?
A. Buying pieces you find you can't use is certainly a right of passage for a new angel
maker. Even my classes at the college go through the same thing. And every now and again I will think something will be just
right and then I will put it up to the piece I was making and say "What was I thinking?" Don't get rid of it.
Sometime in the future you may find something that would really benefit from it. Keep up the good work.
